房子的主人是一对即将步入婚姻殿堂的年轻人，女主人是从事儒家教育的工作者，从小学习中国的传统文化，无论是梅兰竹菊四君子还是茶道，香道，花道，业主都非常的喜欢，对中国传统文化有着不解的情怀，男主人从事音乐工作，也喜欢传统文化。在风格上将中国传统文化古为今用，营造出既体现中式文化之美又符合现代人生活起居的，温暖舒适的人居环境。在功能布局上，要满足现代精英阶层的高品质的生活起居要求，做到动静分离，合理安排私密区与公共区，同时东线流畅，设计出适应正常家庭生活起居的捷径东线，并符合人体工学的要求：负一规划为休闲娱乐的空间，满足业主平时的健身，娱乐的需求。一层规划为就餐接待的空间，整个空间打通，为业主不定期的约三五好友在家中开paty预留了充足的空间。二层为主人房，衣帽间还有主人钟爱的茶室空间，在这个有着古朴格调的茶室空间中，燃上一柱檀香，看着漂亮的鲜花与爱人一起品茶是一件多么惬意的事情。三层则是为将来的宝宝准备的空间还有主人的书房。
整体空间氛围的营造摒弃了过于繁琐的造型，能体现现代都市人对生活的追求，不以雍华取胜，但要有高贵气质，能有中国传统文化的传承。
