整体设计的出发点以老人居住的舒适性为主，重点的装饰在一楼的公共区域，所有的装饰造型也都是集中在视觉的焦点上面，其它没有做过多装饰，基本以满足功能为主。进门的玄关保留了业主从祖上传下来陪伴了老人一生的老家具，同时老家具也承载了老人孩子们童年的记忆，也是家风传承的见证，为整个时尚的空间增添了灵魂。
光源上面除了为配合挑空空间的餐厅设置了主灯外，其余空间皆为隐藏式光源设计，这样既可以体现空间的简约大方，同时也满足了不同场合对灯光的需求，节省了费用。
色调上面以白色为背景色，深色为主体色，搭配一些亮色的点缀，空间色调既统一协调，又不失变化。为老人营造出一个沉稳，舒适，温馨的时尚空间。
