Born in the historic city of Xuzhou, Mr. Lee graduated from the prestigious University of Arts in London with a Master of Arts in 2005. Mr Lee participated in the design of some of the top luxury resorts in the world such as the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Beijing and the Banyan Tree Resort in Macau.
In 2002 Mr. Lee received the Gold Award for Asia Pacific Design and a Special Honours for his commercial work.
From 2006 to 2013, Mr. Lee worked in Hong Kong and Melbourne as a design director and project director to lead international teams from Chad Siembieda Associates (CSA) and Hirsh Bedner Associates (HBA).
In 2014 Mr Lee founded L’Avventura & Lavven in New York and Hong Kong. A branch studio was launched in Paris in 2019.
In 2018 Mr. Lee founded the APCC Society (Asia-Pacific Co-Creation Society) to create artistic products that respect history and regional heritage.
