「火山」常被视为神秘且强大的自然力量象征，预示着「毁灭」和「诞生」。火山喷发和熔岩流动释放的巨大能量唤起了人类对地球深邃神秘的遐想。

自然之中，既有与人类和谐共生的怡然娴静，也不乏为人类所恐惧的崇高力量。它像是喜怒无常的神明，既带来灾难，同时也供应着自然界肥沃的土壤和宝贵资源。ATELIER V&F被这种开放性的双重解读所吸引，它处于文化、信仰和自然力量的交汇之间，成为一个充满创作可能性的媒介。

「Volcanoes」, the physical and visual embodiment of the mysterious and overwhelming natural power, breed 「destruction」 and 「life」. The overt display of untamed energy that is the volcanic eruption and lava flow evokes in people ancient and mythical imagination of the earth.

Within the realm of nature, there is not only a tranquil harmony of coexistence between humanity and the nonhuman world, but a power of a higher form that holds humans in awe. It’s like an ambivalent and unpredictable deity that brings about disasters, but also in their wake deliver riches and resources. ATELIER V&F was drown to the ambivalence of natural power that leaves an open door for cultural, religious and natural creation.

「让自然介入」是ATELIER V&F长期的创作方向之一，不断的从大自然汲取灵感，将其融入产品本身，让作品回归到以人为尺度的理念哲学中。

以雕塑家的视角，将炙热蜿蜒的熔岩作为灵感进行产品创作，「LAVA」采用了古老的铜铸造技术，金属先经由高温融化，成为无形但拥有巨大能量的流体，再冷却成雕塑状态。这是一个重塑的过程，如同火山也带来了毁灭，但这毁灭总伴随着创造——熔岩形成了新的地貌，新的生命也在火山灰中茁壮成长。

「Let nature in」 has always been one of the artistic pursuits of ATELIER V&F— taking inspirations from nature, molding products accordingly, bringing back the philosophy of man as measure.

Inspired by the meandering lava flow, 「LAVA」 adopts the ancient copper casting technique—melting down the metal into a formless liquid that carries in it great heat energy, and through the perspective of a sculptor, cooling it down into unsculpted sculptures. It is a process of reshaping, just like how volcanic eruptions uses destructions to create—lava changes the landscape and the volcanic ash breeds burgeoning life.

「LAVA」以其倾斜的支撑呈现出一种生命力，同时具备混沌的形态，在空间形成了属于它的诗意场域。「LAVA」有两款尺寸可供选择，除了铜本色和黑色，还提供了镀银的特别版本。

The slanted support of 「LAVA」 gives out a primitive liveliness and an unmodified power that together forms the temperament that occupy the space it takes up. There are two size options for LAVA in copper color, black and silver plating.

「LAVA」由匠人手工制作。铸造过程的手工痕迹与粗糙肌理成为其标志性美学。通过时间、空气和水的相互作用，赋予每件作品独特的质感与肌理。

「LAVA」 is hand crafted by artisans. The traces of human work during casting and the rough texture are its signature. Time, air, water work together to give every piece of this collection a unique quality and texture.

ATELIER V&F tries to maintain an equilibrium among creative freedom, interdisciplinary collaborations with artisans and the functionality of its works. Starting with 「LAVA」, ATELIER V&F will carry on its creative spirit, to build a product line with different pieces that are design with the whole space in mind. The studio will continue to bring forth, for a wider audience, excellent pieces of furniture and lighting products that align with our pursuit of excellence on craftsmanship and a harmonious relationship between objects and the space they take up.

源自地球深处火山熔岩的灵感，「LAVA」边几以强烈的质感和肌理赞颂着充满生命力的混沌之美。每一个细节都经过匠人精雕细琢，创造出鲜明的作品感。「LAVA」提供两种尺寸，铜本色、黑色以及镀银等多样的饰面组合，为空间注入多重可能性。

Drawing inspiration from the volcanic lava that sprung from the great depth of earth, 「LAVA」 side table, with its distinctive temperament and texture, symbolizes the raw and primitive power of nature. Every detail of the table was so meticulously cared for by the artisan that  it stands like a piece of art. 「LAVA」 offers two size options in copper color, black and silver plating, allowing for different interpretations and representations of the space.

Atelier V&F was co-founded by Chen Furong and Vega Zaishi Wang in Shenzhen. Their professional background and artistic upbringing shape the character of Atelier V&F. Its work trys to break the divide of territories and cultures, and with a inclusive narrative to interpret aesthetics and functionality. The two designers’s poetics of life and living, their respect for different materials’ true nature and their unceasing pursuit of exquisite craftsmanship instill a vitality into Atelier V&F’s works from artistic sculptures, installments and space to practical and utilitarian objects. As a married couple, Vega and Furong’s collaborated works embrace the non-utilitarian and pure beauty, and are thus, emotionally powerful.
