Wendell Castle（1932-2018）是美国知名的当代先锋艺术家，被称为“美国艺术家具运动之父”。无论是传统家具还是现代艺术设计，他的所创作的作品一直保有独特的风格，被世界各国博物馆和机构收藏。Wendell Castle 1932年出生于美国堪萨斯州，青年时代求学于堪萨斯大学工业设计专业并获得学士学位，之后继续深造雕塑专业硕士学位。Wendell Castle一生致力于将家具设计与艺术相结合，他不仅拥有自己的设计工作室，还一直坚持在美国罗切斯特理工大学美国手工艺学院任教，教授木工及家具设计。
