项目背景：深圳天和酒店位于深圳市宝安区国际机场附近，是一个改造项目，主要服务于机组空乘人员和商旅人士，由于原来建筑结构的层高低矮，空间过于狭小，容易使人产生压迫感，无法实现艺术上的美感，是酒店的一大结构硬伤。
设计理念：本案在大堂的设计中提取中国古代最具代表性的 “华表”元素，外物内用，将其融入至现代的设计理念之中，为客人表达出“平安出，平安归”的寓意。同时通过中式传统的元素的造景向客人诠释了一种古典氛围，打造一个集商务休闲于一体的酒店新体验。
艺术效果：本案例作品从传统的“华表”概念出发，采用现代简约的设计风格，将理性的空间架构，融入至感性的中式经典美学之中，散发出古典人文气息的同时又具备现代实用的美学价值。同时在酒店公共空间设计中采用深色系的装饰木、石材、家具等，进行线条洗练，增强空间的大气稳重感。
空间规划：整个酒店的建筑面积约15000平方米，设有一个早餐厅，两个中西风格各异的宴会厅，以及160间特色的商务套房和单双标准客房。同时配有大小8个VIP包间，一个康体中心，书吧、会议室等，融合为一体，配套设施齐全，满足不同客户的需求，享受这闲暇的旅居生活。
内部设计：客房的设计中，采用浅色系的家具和饰物，造型干净简洁，并将原木设计体现在房间的每一处装饰细节上，让奔波的客人在视觉、身心得到放松和舒展。房间内摒弃掉繁杂的装饰，以简约美学理念来呈现，都市喧嚣里的一抹宁静，引人入胜。
在如诗的人文情怀中，从中式传统的元素符号展开，运用简洁柔和的色彩和格调，为客户打造出一种喧嚣外的一种惬意旅居。
