美好的生活方式，是开拓、是承载、是传承，儒雅之贵，以爱之名，可以是一种生活习惯，一种良好教养，是孝顺，是关爱，是心灵善良的宽容，是积极向上的生活态度，是精神与格局高尚的品格，是爱的传承。沿用先生的一句话，他说：良好的家教，高贵的灵魂，每一步良好家风的沿续，是需要每代人的承载与传承并为之付出努力的，中国几千年的文化我们有更高精神文明，至高的境界。本案为 180 平方米老房子，大多数的情况下是两人居住，一家三口人，先生与夫人两人居住，儿子有独立的居所不常住在此房子，先生爱看书，有在书房休息的习惯，先生喜欢中式但其儿子更喜欢现代简约，通过与业主多方深入了解情况后，在设计上对本案注入了全新的概念，把中式风格融入现代的手法，通过后期装饰提炼出中式蕴味。原始户型入户无收纳，细小阳台厨房，餐厅与入户错乱无序的空间，整体让人压抑的痛点，通过对户型格局设计上的重组，释放出更多的空间，设计独立的门厅、独立的储物间、中厨、西厨、客厅、餐厅、休闲茶艺区、晾晒区、双卫生间，主卧、次卧、书房休息室，南北向西厨与餐厅与客厅与休闲品茶区相连贯，形成通透的空间赋于房屋新的活力，从视觉与触觉上都得以满足，使用上更加人性化。
整体设计，以原木为主调、鱼肚白大板瓷砖与灰色地砖呼应，地灯的设计让整个空间浑然天成，设计秉承简约的设计手法，崇尚少即是多的设计理念，摒弃所有繁复多余的装饰，提取中式文化的精髓把中式传统元素与现代元素相结合，营造出韵味空间。墙面的设计上以原木设计简约的造型，鱼肚白大板瓷砖与温和的木质元素巧妙结合，权衡整个空间的平衡感。电视背景墙展示柜的设计，提高空间储物功能的同时，为空间增添活动性，通过传统的中式元素的配饰摆件与现代完美的结合。
多种灯光的模式设计：休闲、会客、观影、夜光的设计，更加贴近美好的生活，灯带的设计为空间增添氛围的同时起到一定的导向作用。氛围灯的设计满足烘托气氛的同时，也提高了生活便利性。卧室空间以极简为主，简约的色彩，配合木质元素，营造出柔和舒适的空间。关于书房的设计：先生爱看书，优良传统的作风，在先生看来，越中式越承载着中式博大精深的文化，传统与现代，在关于书房与休息卧室一体的设计上，最终还是尊重先生对中式固有的情怀与习惯，釆用深棕色，定制的木作、墙饰、书柜与床架，通过灯光的呼应，营造出中式独特的韵味。戎马一生让空间为生活保留一些精彩的内容，让生活多一些美好，书房与休息室一体的设计充分说明，设计是以人为中心，为美好生活而服务的。 卫生间的设计一改原先的错乱，在这次的设计上从功能性分割出干湿分离 ，整体以明亮色为主，条形的墙砖也为空间增加延申感，让整个空间显得更加开阔。
