1. 红旗渠：
红旗渠被周恩来总理誉为新中国两大建设奇迹之一。

红旗渠的设计和建设有效解决了当地水源的民生问题，至今仍是林州农田的主要灌溉水源，也是主要地饮用水源。红旗渠设计依循中国自古以来地水利工程智慧，在太行山腰依山而建、就地取材，并创造性地采用矿渣加石膏粉混合为水泥，以开山炸石的石料筑成渠堤，建成人工天河，充分体现了中国式设计理念。红旗渠的规划设计和建设，以愚公移山的信念，向世界展示了中国开天辟地的设计创造力。其后当地经济的发展充分验证了优秀设计对经济的驱动力量，也带动了当地旅游的发展。
The design and construction of Hongqi Canal effectively addresses the water issue for the local residents. It is still a main water source for irritation and drinking. Built in the middle of Taihang mountain, its design borrows the wisdom of Chinese traditional water conservancy projects. Gathering local materials, Hongqi Canal innovatively uses a combination of mine waste and gypsum. Rocks that are left after the explosion to break part of the mountain become the materials for building the canal, conveying the Chinese traditional design and philosophy. Built with a strong belief in its success, the design and construction of Hongqi Canal shows the world China’s impressive design creativity. The development of the local economy after the project is finished demonstrate the role of quality design in boosting the economy. The local tourist industry benefits most from the canal.
2. 密云水库：
密云水库是首都北京最大也是唯一的饮用水源供应地，设计和建设于上世纪50年代末，从根本上消除了潮白河水害，使600多万亩良田受益，体现了设计为民生的意义。更具前瞻性意义的是，设计兼顾了环境改善的责任，最大程度保护了自然环境，同时满足发电、水产、旅游的功能。
历经半个世纪考验的密云水库设计，是设计驱动力在经济和环境保护融合方面的极佳诠释，是设计创造力的经典体现。
Miyun Reservoir:
As the biggest and the only one source of drinking water in the Chinese capital, Miyun Reservoir was designed and built in late 1950s, managing to eliminate floods from the Chaobai River and irrigate more than 6 million mu arable land so that it is a piece of design for people’s livelihood. The construction is also forward-looking in that it can improve the environment, protect the nature as well as serve the the purposes of power generation, aquatic farming and tourist development.
After more than half a century, the design of Miyun Reservoir is still considered as classic. It is a perfect interpretation of the role of design in economic development and environmental protection as well the design’s creative power.

1. “中国古典家具”APP交互设计
“Chinese Classic Furniture” APP Interactive Design
将中国古典家具通过爆炸图式分解直观的展示古典家具设计的魅力，运用物理感应技术，有趣的交互设计能够激发观者主动去了解传统文化的兴趣
By disassembling Chinese classic furniture and with physical inductive technology, the APP demonstrates the charm of traditional furniture design and encourage users to know more about it.
2. 嘀嘀打车
DIDI Taxi
嘀嘀打车软件是利用新技术、改变城市生活的设计范例之一。在大城市，出租车分布不均、拒载已经成为普遍现象，嘀嘀打车的最大价值是匹配用户和司机的需求，减少司机的空载，提高效率，同时减少了不必要的碳排放。嘀嘀打车建立了社会化的信息调度平台，充分体现了设计思维。
DIDI Taxi is a good example of changing urban life with new technology. A common problem in big cities is that taxies are unevenly distributed and some taxi drivers refuse to take passengers. The meaning of this APP is that it can match drivers and passenger, filling more taxies and increasing efficiency, which ultimately reduces carbon emission. The APP has built a social platform for transmitting information and demonstrated the idea of design. Most importantly, it is easy to use.
3. “凭几”家具设计
Pingji furniture
“凭几”是中国古代有三个蹄形足的特殊家具，几面较窄，几面后部上脑凸起一定的高度，上脑与扶手整体呈圈椅上部的半圈状，与汉榻配合使用，是供人们休息凭扶的一种家具。此作品注重现代和传统中国元素的结合，具备典型的东方审美特点。
Pingji is a special kind of ancient Chinese furniture with three legs and a small surface. The back of the surface rises up a little and forms half a circle with the handrail. Combined with Han couch, it is a piece of furniture for people to have a rest. The design is a combination of modern and traditional Chinese element as well as an embodiment of typical eastern aesthetics.
4. 篱苑书屋
Liyuan Library
篱苑书屋向游客及村民提供免费的阅览读物和空间，同时亦可作为游客及村民相互交流的一处清舍雅苑。让建筑本身与自然环境浑然一体，堪称建筑与自然对话的成功案例。在城市化扩张的今天，我们需要这样充满人文情怀的“慢设计”。
Liyuan Library provides reading space and books freely for both visitors and local residents. It also serves as an elegant environment for their communication. With the library as an integral part of natural environment, the library is a successful case of having an architectural dialogue with the nature. We do need this kind of “slow design” with humanistic value in a modern world where China is urbanized rapidly.
5. 当代MOMΛDangdai MOMA
实现了高难度的外观建筑设计，并通过设计实现项目的节能省地、绿色环保。独特的智能家居设计、环廊社区设计，使城市生活更舒适、便捷，成为北京新十大建筑之一。
The exterior design of Dangdai MOMA is quite difficult to achieve. The project succeeds in saving energy, land and promoting environmental friendliness through design. The unique arrangement for smart housing, community-in-circle etc. makes urban life all the more comfortable and convenient. It is one the ten best new architecture in Beijing.
6. “椅刚柔”座椅“Gang Rou” chair
椅刚柔全以竹为材，善用中国传统榫卯结构，全无使用金属或塑料等其他部件。在充分运用中国传统文化元素的基础上，采用了现代工艺，提升了舒适度，并通过设计，节省空间、运输费用，延长使用寿命，减少碳排放，是符合当代绿色设计理念的作品。
Built with traditional Chinese mortise-and-tenon connection, Gang Rou chair is made of bamboo without using metal or plastic, which is quite environmentally friendly. On the basis of fully utilizing elements of Chinese traditional culture, it uses modern technology, also improves comfort. And by design, save space and lower transportation cost, extend working life, reduce carbon emissions, which is in line with the contemporary green design concepts.
7. 西部农民生土窑洞改造设计reconstruction and design for raw soil cave dwelling in West China
本项目是无偿为西部农民进行生土窑洞保护和改造的意义重大的设计公益活动，以保护性改造设计的思路，将土窑加以舒适性和安全性的改良，让许多低收入农民拥有价廉物美的住宅，将必要的现代生活设备引入原始窑洞，改善了他们的居住环境，体现了可持续发展的设计理念。
This project provides free services for farmers in West China by reconstructing their raw soil cave dwellings. This project is highly meaningful in that it provides protective reconstruction and design. By improving the comfortability and safety of cave dwelling and introducing modern living facilities, it provides low-income farmers with inexpensive and quality housing as well as their living environment, which demonstrates sustainable design philosophy.
8. “杭州唐宫海鲜舫”室内设计Tang Palace Seafood Restaurant project
杭州唐宫海鲜舫位于杭州新城区一个大型商业中心顶层，空间高九米，朝南有广阔的视野。通过对新型材质的应用，对中国传统文化元素进行发展和运用，塑造出彼此相异，却连贯一体的空间感受，在追求空间创意的同时，保持了对当地文化的尊重。
Tang Palace Seafood Restaurant is located on the top floor of a big commercial center in Xicheng District, Hangzhou. Through new uses of latest materials, the project creates different yet cohesive senses of the space, paying respect to the local cultural in its pursuit for spatial creativity.
9. “中国嫁衣”设计系列Chinese-style bridal couture design series
该系列设计成功塑造了具有浓郁中国文化特色的中国新娘形象，是创新性的中国本土原创作品，打破了目前中式婚礼服产品设计过于单一的形势，并让世界看到中国结婚礼服的设计能力。
Guo Pei’s “Xi, Chinese Bridal Couture Series ” creates a modern image of Chinese brides. Boasting originality and local characteristics, it is visionary, innovative and unconventional. Guo’s design adds something new to the monotonous bridal clothing market in China and demonstrates China’s design capacity in bridal couture to the world.
10. 水滴壶设计Yehidea water-drop pot
设计师设计了独家专利，中空不烫手保温壶身，解决了陶瓷茶壶烫手的实际问题，也是环保的设计，体现了设计与艺术和科技的结合。
The unique design in the pot, which has an exclusive license, features good heat-preserving quality and prevents being hand-scalding. It not only solves the problem of using a pot with hot water inside, but also helps to promote environmental friendliness. The design is a perfect combination of design, art and technology.
11. 纸钢琴设计
纸钢琴(IPAD)套件是一个很简单的用Arduino和触摸传感方式制作而成的。是基于“有趣”的原创设计，实现了技术与艺术的结合。
Paper piano Ipad case is made with Arduino and touch sensing technology. It is design of originality based on “interestingness”, demonstrating the combination of technology and art.
12. 云南腾冲高黎贡手工造纸博物馆Museum of Handcraft Paper
博物馆建造在云南腾冲高黎贡山下新庄村边的田野中，建筑的目的是为了向来访者展示新庄古老的手工造纸工艺，及相关于手工纸的文化产品。设计体现了建筑、造纸和环境不可分离的关系，建筑设计与环境和谐共生。
Located in Xinzhuang Village under the Gong mountain in Yunnan’s Tengchong, Museum of Handcraft Paper is built to demonstrate the local paper making technique and products of paper handcraft. The design demonstrates the close relationship between architecture, paper-making and the environment , as well as the harmonious co-existence between architectural design and environment.
13. 《中国东西》展览策展与设计“Chinese Stuff” exhibition
以独特的角度解读中国东西与中国人、中国社会之间的关系，还原物品里的中国生活以及最真实的生活细节，传递出一种包容、质朴的中国式生活审美。
The exhibition is a unique reading of the relationship between “Chinese stuff”, Chinese people and Chinese society. It restores the vivid and actual details of Chinese life contained by the objects and conveys Chinese aesthetics that is open, tolerant and simple.
14. 银河SOHO建筑设计Galaxy SOHO
设计借鉴中国院落的思想，通过现代化技术手段，创造出丰富流动的空间景致和室外平台。并采用大量绿色建筑的先进技术，提升了身处其中的舒适度，体现了绿色设计的理念。
The design borrows the idea of Chinese courtyard, creates a fluid sense of the space and constructs out-door platforms with modern technology. It makes use of advanced green architecture technologies, making it all the more environmentally friendly and comfortable.
15. 360网络产品设计360 internet Product
充分体现了设计者对设计分享价值的理解，重新定义了中国家庭上网的方式，通过网络产品系统设计，极大地提升了人们上网的便利性。
360’s design demonstrates the designers’ understanding of sharing’s importance. It not only redefines the way that Chinese people surf the internet, but also makes it all the more convenient through systematic product design.
16. 苏州雅扇手工设计Suzhou artistic fan making and design
苏州雅扇手工设计是对中国非物质文化遗产——制扇技艺的保护和传承，设计项目涉及手工制作、书籍出版、展览等。设计精致秀雅，充满古典韵味。
Suzhou artistic fan making and design serve to protect and inherit fan making craft and technique, which is part of Chinese intangible cultural heritage. The project involves craft making, book publishing and exhibition, etc. The design is elegant, delicate and conveys traditional Chinese aesthetics.
