花卉的结构、云朵的肌理、海岸的轮廓，看似无序的景观背后，隐藏着迷人的结构与规律。而神话传说、宗教建筑与艺术创作等，在人类文明中看似经过岁月考证与沉淀的审美与观念，其实来源于对自然结构无意识的迷恋与崇拜。人类文明所实现的一切，似乎都是在冥冥之中回应自然沉默的指引。

The structure of flowers, the texture of clouds, the silhouettes of coastlines, behind all the seemingly random shapes are the enigmatic patterns and order of nature. And in mythology, religious architectures and artistic creations, in all the aesthetics and concepts of human civilizations that survived the questioning of time, we can find an unconscious admiration and adoration from human beings towards the natural structures of things.

受此感悟与启示，ATELIER V&F 重新审视自然与人的关系，尝试在创作中体悟自然的逻辑与力量，由此诞生了 IRIS 壁灯。

Inspired and enlightened by this, ATELIER V&F look at the relationship human beings have with nature, and try to appreciate and demonstrate the logic and power of nature through the creative process, and that’s how IRIS Wall Lamp was born.

IRIS 壁灯外观简洁，由黑色底座支撑着白色云石雕塑，显现出自然的平衡和优雅的美感。

云石雕塑饱满的形状令人联想到大自然中的有机体，同时保持轮廓鲜明，从中心向两侧荡开的曲线营造出隐秘的秩序感。双曲面结构使之正面呈现为神圣的正圆形，侧面则具有生动的弧度。云石底部轻巧地立于底座前端，如同美术馆对雕塑作品的呈现。

IRIS Wall Lamp has a simple silhouette, with a black base holding up a white marble sculpture, demonstrating the balanced and elegant beauty of nature. The marble sculpture’s plump shape reminds people of natural organisms. Its clean silhouette and its perfectly symmetrical curves that radiate from the center towards two sides gives out a mysterious sense of order. The hyperboloid shape looks sacredly circular at front, while its profile has a dynamic curve to it. The black base gracefully holds up the sculpture and exhibits it in an exquisite way.

点亮时，光从云石雕塑中心圆润的缝隙间溢出，凸显出材料的天然纹理，仿佛晨间日光倾入云海，营造出柔和浪漫的氛围，亦不失优雅庄严。

When put on, the light radiates from the rounded seam of the marble sculpture, accentuating the natural texture of the material, like the morning light shining through clouds, soft and romantic, but also elegantly solemn.

云石雕塑采用现代石雕技术，精确切割打磨而成，将石材本身的质感收纳于精心设计的模型之中。金属底座以砂铸铝制作，原始的浸漆工艺赋予其粗朴质感。天然材料与现代技术的结合，使 IRIS 壁灯可以适配从现代化场景到艺术感场域的多元空间。

Processed with the modern stone carving technique and precise cutting and polishing, the marble sculpture is delicately shaped and the stone’s natural texture remained intact. The metal base is sand cast aluminum that has the rough and rustic touch given by the old dip-coating technology. The combination of natural material and modern technology makes the IRIS Wall Lamp versatile for different vibes from modern living scenario to artistic space.

独立装点空间时，IRIS 是一个不容忽视的存在，如同自然神崇拜时期的古老图腾，提升空间的精神力量。例如，作为卧室入口处的氛围光源，它释放舒缓、安宁的光，引领人进入一个静谧的场域。成对使用时，它们将立刻吸引注意力，如一对眼睛，为空间提供温柔的注视。在这样的使用场景中，其对称性得到加强，仪式感随之更加凸显。IRIS 壁灯整体简约的形状使之亦可以作为连排走廊壁灯或楼梯壁灯使用，如同大自然中重复出现的图案，为建筑空间带来肃穆而不失温度的神圣感。

When decorating a space, IRIS can be an eloquent presence, like a old totem from the time of nature worship, capable of raising the spiritual energy of the space. For instance, it can act as a atmospheric light source placing on the entrance of the bedroom, radiating soft and calming light, leading people into a quite personal space. When used in pair, they immediate draws attention, like a pair of mellow eyes, having heartwarming eye contact with the space. In this scenario, their symmetricity is accentuated, and they make the space more ceremonious. The simple shape of IRIS Wall Lamp makes it suitable for the hallway and staircase, like a recurring pattern from nature, they make the space warmly solemn and sacred.

Atelier V&F 由设计师陈福荣和王在实共同创立于深圳，来自设计、艺术和时尚的基因共同塑造着工作室的独特性格。得益于不同的专业背景和经验，Atelier V&F 的创作打破领域与文化区隔，以包容的设计语言完成全新叙事。从诗意的概念出发，结合对多样材料、工艺的钻研，在雕塑、装置、环境与实用物品之间创作游走。作为夫妻设计组合，作品含有细腻的情感力量，回归无用和纯粹的美。

Atelier V&F was co-founded by Chen Furong and Vega Zaishi Wang in Shenzhen. Their professional background and artistic upbringing shape the character of Atelier V&F. Its work trys to break the divide of territories and cultures, and with a inclusive narrative to interpret aesthetics and functionality. The two designers’s poetics of life and living, their respect for different materials’ true nature and their unceasing pursuit of exquisite craftsmanship instill a vitality into Atelier V&F’s works from artistic sculptures, installments and space to practical and utilitarian objects.
