生活中的朱平波是两个可爱双胞胎女儿的父亲，有别于工作中的稳重 严苛，对待女儿时他总是温柔耐心。会看着她们打闹，也会讲一些陈 旧老套的笑话，逗女儿开心
黑白灰作为空间主色调，饱满有质感的同时扩大了视觉感受。桔色作为空间跳色，增添了一丝摩登感。电视背景墙下还特别设计了景观壁 炉，不但在局部上增添了亮点，更使整个空间的艺术氛围有所提升。
从最初找房子到装修设计，朱平波以最快的速度让这里变成了家。而 和丈夫的急性子不同，负责软装的妻子叶佩始终秉持着不急不躁的慢 脾气。“家具可以立即到位，但是家的感觉却需要慢慢培养。”她会 逛遍大街小巷，只为买下一件喜欢的艺术品。家中那些色彩冷峻、线 条明朗的画作都是她一幅幅淘回家中的。在平淡生活中要想对一幅画 百看不厌，必然是要花费了时间的。
两个成长中的孩子，居家空间的构造以及填充方式就显得尤为 重要。孩子是空间的催化剂，增添活泼童真的同时还能提升风格。“有 创意的成长蜕变”是夫妻俩对双胞胎女儿的期许，无拘无束本身已是 最好的关爱。
各种体验活动的纪念品散布在空间每个角落，色彩分明 的波普画作极具艺术气息，凌乱丢弃的玩偶像是上一场“枕头大战” 留下的痕迹
艺术家无时无刻都要工作，接受了这个无可避免的特质之后，他们也 在家中留出了工作的空间，可以用来做一些类似于画画和做模型的小 项目。需要休息时，也可在这里宅着，放松，思考。“我认为家是我 们个性中一个重要的层面，通过它，我们去探索并安存于这个现实世界”
