Liyuan Library provides reading space and books freely for both visitors and local residents. It also serves as an elegant environment for their communication. With the library as an integral part of natural environment, the library is a successful case of having an architectural dialogue with the nature. We do need this kind of “slow design” with humanistic value in a modern world where China is urbanized rapidly.
5. 当代MOMΛDangdai MOMA
实现了高难度的外观建筑设计，并通过设计实现项目的节能省地、绿色环保。独特的智能家居设计、环廊社区设计，使城市生活更舒适、便捷，成为北京新十大建筑之一。
The exterior design of Dangdai MOMA is quite difficult to achieve. The project succeeds in saving energy, land and promoting environmental friendliness through design. The unique arrangement for smart housing, community-in-circle etc. makes urban life all the more comfortable and convenient. It is one the ten best new architecture in Beijing.
6. “椅刚柔”座椅“Gang Rou” chair
椅刚柔全以竹为材，善用中国传统榫卯结构，全无使用金属或塑料等其他部件。在充分运用中国传统文化元素的基础上，采用了现代工艺，提升了舒适度，并通过设计，节省空间、运输费用，延长使用寿命，减少碳排放，是符合当代绿色设计理念的作品。
Built with traditional Chinese mortise-and-tenon connection, Gang Rou chair is made of bamboo without using metal or plastic, which is quite environmentally friendly. On the basis of fully utilizing elements of Chinese traditional culture, it uses modern technology, also improves comfort. And by design, save space and lower transportation cost, extend working life, reduce carbon emissions, which is in line with the contemporary green design concepts.
7. 西部农民生土窑洞改造设计reconstruction and design for raw soil cave dwelling in West China
本项目是无偿为西部农民进行生土窑洞保护和改造的意义重大的设计公益活动，以保护性改造设计的思路，将土窑加以舒适性和安全性的改良，让许多低收入农民拥有价廉物美的住宅，将必要的现代生活设备引入原始窑洞，改善了他们的居住环境，体现了可持续发展的设计理念。
This project provides free services for farmers in West China by reconstructing their raw soil cave dwellings. This project is highly meaningful in that it provides protective reconstruction and design. By improving the comfortability and safety of cave dwelling and introducing modern living facilities, it provides low-income farmers with inexpensive and quality housing as well as their living environment, which demonstrates sustainable design philosophy.
8. “杭州唐宫海鲜舫”室内设计Tang Palace Seafood Restaurant project
杭州唐宫海鲜舫位于杭州新城区一个大型商业中心顶层，空间高九米，朝南有广阔的视野。通过对新型材质的应用，对中国传统文化元素进行发展和运用，塑造出彼此相异，却连贯一体的空间感受，在追求空间创意的同时，保持了对当地文化的尊重。
Tang Palace Seafood Restaurant is located on the top floor of a big commercial center in Xicheng District, Hangzhou. Through new uses of latest materials, the project creates different yet cohesive senses of the space, paying respect to the local cultural in its pursuit for spatial creativity.
9. “中国嫁衣”设计系列Chinese-style bridal couture design series
该系列设计成功塑造了具有浓郁中国文化特色的中国新娘形象，是创新性的中国本土原创作品，打破了目前中式婚礼服产品设计过于单一的形势，并让世界看到中国结婚礼服的设计能力。
Guo Pei’s “Xi, Chinese Bridal Couture Series ” creates a modern image of Chinese brides. Boasting originality and local characteristics, it is visionary, innovative and unconventional.
